Portsmouth

In 2005, after the Portsmouth harbour was redeveloped, the Spinnaker Tower was built as a centre piece and supported by a grant from the Nation Lottery. The tower stands 558 feet high.

Portsmouth is home to a Premier League football team (Portsmouth FC) which is nicknamed Pompey. They play their home games at Fratton Park. The city is also nicknamed Pompey as well. Portsmouth FC recently announced that they are planning on moving to a new stadium and have submitted their plans and hope they are approved. If they are approved then the stadium would be ready for 2011.
Portsmouth Harbour

Situated in Hampshire, on the South Coast of England, Portsmouth is home to quite a big natural harbour. At the top of the Portsmouth Harbour is a castle (Portchester Castle), which was built by the Romans as protection for the harbour.

The harbour is naturally defended by the Isle of Wight and is home to Britain's navy. Over the years it has also become a commercialised port with ferries taking passengers across the waters to France, the Isle of Wight, and Gosport.

Situated in the Portsmouth Harbour is the Gunwharf Quays, which is a fantastic shopping centre. It has a large number of bars/restaurants, a bowling alley, a cinema, a huge number of shops, and there's a Holiday Inn there if you wish to stay for more than a day.

Gunwharf Quays

The current Gunwharf Quays opened on 28th February 2001 is located on the former location of the Royal Navy shore, HMS Vernon. Gunwharf Quays contains 95 designer shopping outlets as well as 25 bars and restaurants and faces onto the infamous 558ft Spinnaker Tower. Within the complex there is also a 14-screen Vue cinema, a bowling alley, the comedy club Jongleurs which becomes a nightclub at 10pm, a Tiger Tiger night club, an art gallery and also a 120 bed hotel.

The centre is located close to the historic dockyard and Old Portsmouth.

The centre is open Monday-Friday 10am-7pm, Saturday 9am-7pm and Sunday 10am-5pm with late night shopping available closer to the Christmas holidays.

The is also a host of bars, cafes and restaurants around the Gunwharf Quays with a few more shops meaning you will be spoilt for choice.

Portsmouth FC

Portsmouth is home to Portsmouth FC, who play their football in the top tier of English football, the Premier League. They play their home games at Fratton Park, which has been their home since 1898 and has only recently been renovated to have a roof on all four stands. It was the only stadium in the Premier League to have a roofless stand until the 2007/08 season.

Harry Redknapp's reign as Portsmouth manager between 2002 and 2008 was arguably the best era in the football club's history. They gained promotion into the Premier League in 2003 and since then have gone from strength to strength winning the FA Cup in 2008 beating Championship side Cardiff City FC 1-0 in the final at Wembley. This secured them European football for the first time in their history.

Since Harry Redknapp left for Tottenham Hotspur FC, and owner Milan Mandaric left for Leicester City FC, Portsmouth have been in financial troubles, going into administration and even failing to pay the players' wages for 2months in a row at the beginning of the 2009/10 season. During this season Portsmouth failed to gain any points for the first 7 games of the season, losing them all.

Hangover Cure Foods

Bread should be part of any pre-partying meal. Obviously, you should never drink alcohol on an empty stomach, and getting some bread in your system before you go out will help absorb excess alcohol in your body. This allows your liver more time to metabolize and process alcohol throughout the night. I recommend a hearty, whole wheat bread if possible, although white bread will also do the job in a pinch. One of the main symptoms of a hangover is an upset stomach and eating some hearty bread beforehand can really help out.

Ramen noodles, the staple of any college student's diet, also make for a great hangover prevention meal. While not terribly healthy in terms of everyday consumption, ramen noodle soup has a soothing effect on your stomach before or after drinking alcohol as they are a relatively bland food. The added flavor packet contains a lot of sodium (salt) which is actually an important part of preventing a hangover. Sodium is a key electrolyte that gets depleted through the course of a night of drinking. Ramen noodles are a great way to replenish your body with sodium before or after drinking.

If you are on a low-carb diet and find carbohydrate-rich foods like bread and oatmeal to be unappealing, there is hope. A banana serves as nature's multi-vitamin and contains a tremendous amount of nutrients your body needs to get you back on your feet. Bananas are potassium-rich. Potassium is another key electrolyte that your body needs to function properly. While sports drinks are loaded with sodium, it's actually potassium that is much harder to replenish naturally given the nature of the American diet. Bananas, on top of being loaded with potassium, are also relatively bland and will not upset your stomach further if you wake up with a hangover.

Lemons have also been proposed as an effective remedy for a hangover due to their high vitamin C content, which gives the fruit its highly acidic and tart flavor. Adding some lemon juice to a glass of water upon waking up will help to reduce a hangover as vitamin C is an antioxidant that will neutralize free radicals in your body left over from alcohol the night before. Do not overdo it with lemons, however, as they can irritate your stomach further.

Decaf tea has been proven to be a natural antioxidant that can help with hangovers as well. Decaf tea will also rehydrate you. I cannot stress 'decaf' enough as caffeine, much like alcohol, is a diuretic which will cause your body to become further dehydrated and lose water reserves. Tea is also generally healthier than decaf coffee which is why it gets the recommendation here.

Ever woken up hungover and craving a big, greasy breakfast? Your body is on the right track. Eggs contain large amounts of l-cysteine, an amino acid that works wonders as a hangover cure. L-cysteine has been shown in scientific studies to neutralize the toxic bi-product of metabolizing alcohol, known as acetaldehyde, into the less toxic acetic acid. Eating eggs upon waking up will help jump start this process as your body is already depleted its l-cysteine reserves, allowing hangover symptom times to be reduced dramatically.

Apple cider vinegar works wonders as a digestive aid and can help the morning after when mixed with water to sooth your upset stomach.

Remember to stock up on the afore-mentioned foods in case you find yourself overserved at a party this holiday season. All of them are natural, safe, and found at your local grocery store.

About the Author: There is a great product called The Hangover Cure that works wonders at preventing hangovers. It's the best hangover cure I have ever used and it did it with completely natural ingredients.

Virtual Trade Shows

The overall structure of the virtual show is much like that of an actual one. With the virtual show including a virtual exhibit hall which users can only enter with specific capabilities, codes, or permissions granted by the virtual tradeshow hosts. With different businesses/people deciding to build virtual exhibits to display information related to the products or services that they offer just as they would in an actual tradeshow venue. And with virtual tradeshow attendees coming to the virtual hall and using specific measures to attend in order to gather information or perhaps even purchase the specific products/services of the virtual exhibitors.

Virtual tradeshows also have many other elements such as virtual web conferences, or web seminars if you will, along with other educational presentations.

Virtual show organizers usually use detailed tracking mechanisms to track the flow of traffic to certain virtual exhibits at the virtual tradefair itself.

The virtual exhibits found in the online virtual tradeshow exhibit hall often resemble actual tradeshow exhibits you would find in the more traditional setting which is thought to allow users to relate to the exhibits easily. You will often see virtual exhibits with desks and other display technology such as large poster displays and what not. A virtual booth will also have other computer friendly tools such as several visible icons that can be used to trigger different responses such as finding out more information about a specific product, service, or the company itself. There are also usually icons present for instant communication with the exhibitor such as instant messaging or instant email. Often virtual exhibitors will also provide online videos and audio messages or at least some sort of slideshow presentation that virtual attendees can play. Sometimes virtual exhibitors will even create online avatars as a visual representation of themselves or their salesperson.

Virtual tradeshows/tradefairs definitely have many different purposes and they are most likely a trend that we will see developed more and more over the years.

Often these virtual tradeshows come at a fraction of the cost compared to actual real life tradeshows, which makes sense considering the logistics of the event itself, the lack of travel, the easy access from any internet port, and the lack of real life tradeshow display unit and space needed.
Often more and more there is a combination of real tradeshow events with online secondary virtual events; as they are used as a great place for attendees to check out before attending, after attending, and also for those who cannot make the "live" event.

Virtual tradeshows are the wave of the future when it comes to the tradeshow circuit, whether they will be held in conjunction with or eventually in replacement of some tradeshow events is yet to be unfolded. The one thing for sure is that the popularity of these events and the affordability of them is on the rise and there is a high likelihood that more and more companies will get involved in them at least on some level.

Submission Tools by Google, MSN and Yahoo Will Help You Succeed on Line!

By using the Submission tools of Google, MSN and Yahoo you can hand index your URL's directly to the various search engines and this will help you gain top positions with the search engines.

If you are trying to market your business opportunity on the internet, what are the strategies you are using to get your name and business offering recognized by the search engines? Don't waste your hard earned dollars on paying someone to submit your URL to 100's or 1,000's of search engines for a fee. Hand submit your URL to the search engines, you'll get a quicker response from the search engines. The search engines don't like massive submissions and will look at those mass submissions sometime in the future. They prefer you to hand submit your URL each time you change content in your website, or publish an article.

The following are three important URL's for hand indexing your URL's: Make sure you follow the instructions on each of these search engines exactly as shown for maximum results.

Google: http://www.google.com/addurl/
MSN: http://search.msn.com.sg/docs/submit.aspx
Yahoo: https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit

Many of the other search engines.....feed off these three search engines. If you post to these submission services each time you add content, publish an article, post an ezine or publish a press release you will find your name recognition will soar in rankings. Posting new content such as articles, ezines, press releases, blogging, forums consistently will help you earn "Top Positions on Google." Search engines love fresh, relative, keyword rich articles and information...Try it and see for yourself what happens.

Another way to help gain popularity is to blog....and blog often. The best blog I have found is the Blogger with Google. I have personally had tremendous success with these blogs. It is simple to use and takes only about 5 minutes to get set-up and running. You'll be glad you did.

Find a forum you enjoy, and start to publish some articles and post to your favorite forum. This is another way to gain popularity on the internet. If you don't know how to write.....it's quite simple. Just write as you would talk. Don't try to be something or somebody you're not. Be sincere and write from the heart. The more you write the better you will become at writing.

Make your articles keyword rich with good relative content for the best results. Forget the idea of advertising on the internet. Learn to market....not advertise. Learn the correct marketing strategies by attending live online classes and/or recorded tutorials taught by professionals. Learn at your own pace. I am one of the instructors teaching you the fine points of internet marketing. Don't try to understand every aspect of marketing before you start writing and publishing. Take it one step at a time and utilize what you learn by practicing what you learn every day. Then move on to the next step.....and incorporate that step into your first step and you will find the journey has just started to take shape for you, so you too can enjoy making money online.

You can check out some of my personal websites and see what real marketing is all about. You may have some questions after you have reviewed these websites. You can contact me at the following contact information. If you need personal mentoring......I can help. The Dark Side of Word-of-Mouth

There is no question about it, word-of-mouth is the most effective type of advertising there is, however, it has a very dark side too. Many people think that referring people involves just getting to know someone, but they forget that nothing is more important than trust, and you can easily kill trust in business.

If you base your business' marketing on word-of-mouth, be careful, because your integrity and reputation are at constant risk. When someone refers you, you better live up to his or her expectations. You have to be professional, and do what you say you can do. If you mess up, everyone involved will notice.

In the same way, when you refer someone, your reputation is at stake too. When a referral is good, you greatly strengthen a relationship, but if the referral is a bad one, you can say goodbye to that relationship. When the person you refer is not a professional, does a poor job or cheats, what suffers the most is your reputation.

You must know the person or business you refer deeply, to be sure that you know all the facts and that you have strong proof of their integrity and professionalism, otherwise, you will end up apologizing to many people and making amends to get your good name back.

One can say that the biggest risk when giving a bad referral is for the giver. His or her business relationships may follow his or her advice due to their reputation, only to be cheated into a trap. How do you think him or her will look in front of those clients? Do not risk it! Know as much as possible about whom you are referring, and equally, never give good referrals to people you know cannot refer with integrity.

On the other hand, some people believe that because they have been referred they can do anything they want, harming themselves and those who referred them due to their recklessness. Remember that word-of-mouth always works, be it in your favor or against you. Never assume you will get a special treatment just because you were referred, you can seriously damage the relationship between the person who referred you and the third party, without mentioning your own.

It can't be clearer; everyone involved in the referral circle is under close scrutiny. Whatever anyone says or displays conveys a message. It is very easy to pinpoint a dishonest and unprofessional person, however, the harm is already done. Word-of-mouth is associated with your image; the true professional is honest and dedicated in every area of his or her life.

Even for solid professionals, sometimes word-of-mouth is not the right way to go. Good business networking demands time and personal involvement, thus, if you cannot give it the care it needs, it is better to stick to other conventional advertising media and marketing strategies, and not risk moving to the dark side of business.

Use A Birthday Reminder To Stay In Touch
There are a lot of little tricks that people have used over the years to try and remember all those occasions. Whether they are scribbling notes on a calendar or leaving post-it notes around the house, none of them really seem to help. Even having other people remind them daily doesn't seem to do it.

These are traditional birthday reminders and people have been trying to make them work for years. However, in a world with all kinds of great new technology, we should be able to devise a more reliable and sure way to remind us it's time to go searching for a happy birthday card.

There are many online services that will let you set up a reliable system to receive birthday reminders. We already access websites on a daily basis and habitually check our email. All we need to do is find a way to seamlessly integrate those birthday reminders into our routines and we will have a better chance of actually seeing them.

These systems were created to send birthday reminders to your email, through your phone, or in an RSS feed. Many of us routinely check these things every day, so if there is a reminder somewhere in it, we will have a lot more time to give the occasion a little more thought, or we can take the time to find something more than just a happy birthday card.

This means you will have more convenient access to your reminders than ever before. You can even set up specific intervals to the reminders so that you will continue to receive them until you do something about it. That means more time to plan and prepare and see that everything is just right.

Some websites even let you set up a calendar so you can invite your friends and family to input their own birthdays. This is beneficial because it can save you a lot of time and embarrassment over having to admit that you don't remember when their birthday is.

When you can keep track of your birthday reminders and organize them properly, you won't ever have to be "that guy" who doesn't remember anything but you can be "that guy" who always has a nice happy birthday card at the right time.

You can be sure to never forget another birthday again by setting up a free online birthday reminder. It is also a great idea to send a free online happy birthday card to friends the day of their birthday.

Successful British Winter Olympians

Olympic participation has slowly been growing and now each time the games are held over 10,000 British athletes travel to compete in the summer games. Come London in 2012 and that number will be nearer 15,000 as the rising standards of UK sport, buoyed by several year's of Lottery funding, will permit Team GB to enter more athletes. Team GB now attempts to win medals in over 400 different disciplines and, as well as participation levels, the medal haul is also on the increase. The tally from the 2008 Beijing games totalled almost 50 medals with 19 being gold.

It's a slightly different story when you consider British performances at the Winter Olympics and you might expect that, given our winters are more often wet, rather than snowy or icy. For sure we have the odd periods of snowfall but certainly not enough to merit investment in any permanent facilities to take advantage of them or enough to persuade athletes to select a snow-dependant sport as their hobby. There may however, be a change on the horizon due to the development of new indoor facilities that make some typical winter sports perfectly viable as a regular pursuit. We have had our fair share of ice rinks across the country, certainly not enough to given everyone easy access but enough to allow those with Olympic ambitions to get enough "ice time" to meet the standards of Olympic qualification. Some athletes have even gone on to win Olympic medals and even though athletes like Cousins, Curry, Torvill and Dean may now be household names, the number of successes is still relatively low.

Looking at the past twenty years of Winter Olympics, GB athletes have secured just 6 medals, with one, solitary gold. Taking a count across every winter Olympic Games and Team GB has won just 21 medals. The victorious performances, all 8 of them, came in just three sports, namely bobsleigh, curling and the previously mentioned ice skating. Again that is a very low tally when you consider that at just the Beijing games, the Team GB medal scoring rate was more than double that.

Despite that low medal count the team has still enjoyed some legendary performances, many that have lived long in the memories of those who witnessed them. Who can forget Eddie the Eagle? Never before has Britain had a competitor in the ski jumping events, probably because there was literally nowhere for anyone to learn the skill. Eddie Edwards did not let that put him off and he built a ski jump simulator in his back yard and gave up his day job as a plasterer to realise his Olympic ambitions. That was back in the days when qualification targets did not apply to ski jumping (the authorities have since amended the rules to prevent anyone like Eddie even starting an Olympic Games). Eddie the Eagle really had no chance from the start, yet his odd looking image of wearing glasses beneath his goggles and a slight glint of fear in his eyes as he started each jump, was enough to endear him to the crowds. He became a hero, a legend and a role model for anyone who doubts they may have the skill or opportunity to get to an Olympics. Edwards made his own destiny and has been fondly remembered for it. As the games ended and the authorities were worrying that Eddie has brought shame on the Olympic ideal, a mention in the closing speech of the Games and the rapturous cheers of the crowds indicated that there was a place for gutsy performers like him.

Our skating heroes were however very competent and won their gold medals by convincingly beating all who came before them. John Curry, Robin Cousins and the ice dance pairing of Torvill and Dean, were all at the top of their sport when they triumphed to win gold. The consecutive games of 1976, 1980 and 1984, when Torvill and Dean won their gold, brought a run of successes that has never been repeated. Torvill and Dean were also fortunate to benefit from a rescheduling of the Winter games which saw only a two year gap following the 1992 Games in Albertville. In order to separate the Summer and Winter games from running in the same year, the next Winter competition was held in 1994 in Lillehammer. That was soon enough for Torvill and Dean to still be competitive and they returned to secure a bronze medal.

In the forthcoming 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada, Britain is again hopeful of some medal successes. Team GB has talented athletes in snowboarding, ice skating, bobsleigh, skeleton, short track speed skating, curling and figure skating. So it remains to be seen if the increased financial investment, new indoor ski slopes and the successes of recent Summer Games will all contribute to richer rewards come February 2010.

About the Author: Michael Baker is a winter sports journalist. He has been watching the development of British athletes in the run up to the Vancouver Olympic games. The new indoor ski centre near London is just one facility helping young athletes prepare for the games.

Best mobile phone: Best Stands For What
Which Companies Provide Pet Insurance?

Pet insurance is becoming more and more common, as people are beginning to realise that they just don't have the extra cash laying around for spontaneous vet visits. No surprise there! But the question is, which companies offer pet insurance? You can't exactly go to a major health provider and ask for it, they only cover humans! No matter how much you might think of your pet as an actual family member, he or she does not stand upright and speak English. If your pet does this however, you might not have to worry about money for the foreseeable future.

There are numerous businesses dedicated to providing specialist pet insurance. This covers dogs, cats and everything in between. Of course, as with any policy, costs will vary as will the levels of coverage available. The Internet is a fantastic way to track down and compare the leading UK pet insurance providers. You can get in depth detail on the policies available, find out what is available for your pet and see how much it is likely to cost you.

Pet insurance policies aren't all that different to life insurance for humans. The older you are and the more health related issues your pet has, the more the premiums are likely to be. Therefore many companies will offer specialist coverage for older cats and dogs as well as younger puppies and kittens.

On top of those, there are also some insurance plans that are offered by supermarkets. It might sound a little strange, but due to various tie-ins with financial institutions they are often a good choice. The supermarkets aren't the only ones taking the initiative though! There are also banks getting in on the action and offering their own insurance policies. It would be incredibly hard to list all of the companies offering this service, but it will be easy to find out just be visiting these places.

Ask your local bank or supermarket if they offer pet insurance, or look for signs indicating such. It won't be incredibly hard to find a place that provides great insurance for your furry friend. One thing that you will need to do however is make sure that the insurance policy covers all the different breeds. Chances are they do, though it's never a bad idea to play it safe before becoming too involved with the insurance process.

Now you have a great resource for keeping your beloved furry family member safe from rising vet bills. It may be a small consolation right now, but when that disaster does occur, you will be glad that you looked into the many different types of pet insurance. So start looking today!

About the Author: Derek Rogers is a freelance writer who writes for a number of UK businesses. For competitive pet insurance, he recommends Healthy Pets, a specialist pet insurer.

Online Searching Fork Lift Hire
Research as much as you can

The internet is a huge source of information and so it makes sense that it should be your starting point to finding out everything you can on forklift hire companies and forklift trucks. The easiest way to bring up an initial list of forklift hire companies is to type 'forktruck hire' into a search engine whether it be Google or Yahoo or any other and go through the websites that will appear on screen. Now there will be thousands of websites that appear in the results but if you go through a few pages and make note of about four or five different forklift hire companies this will narrow it down. Contact each company individually for an initial enquiry, if none of these companies offer you a good price or the exact services you are after you can always go back to the results list and pick out some other companies.
What To Compare When Looking Into Hosting Companies: Hostgator Review Vs Godaddy PLUS 1And1 & DomainDiscover

It seems like today everyone wants to put up some kind of a web site or blog, and wants to know which service is best for hosting their content. While this is not a comprehensive review of every provider on the web, I am going to provide my experiences with some of the big hosting companies that I have experienced. Personally, I have tried a number of services for hosting my files and domains including 1and1, DomainDiscover, GoDaddy, and HostGator. Each of these services has their pros and cons. While you can implement the most of the same features on each provider, such as hosting multiple domains and php sites with a mySql database, each service is different when it comes to reliability, service, and ease of use.

Domain Discover Review

The first domain I ever purchased was with DomainDiscover because it was recommended to my by a friend, and at the time in 2000 it was on a short list of credible services I trusted. Overall they provide a good product and it was a simple process to get my domain up and running, however it was not a simple process to make changes to the nameservers and hosting options because those features were buried in the interface. Since then, they have improved their interface greatly, however they are far from the least expensive option out there.

1and1 Review

A few years later, while I was in college, I wanted to get my first blog up and running and needed to buy another domain. Since money was tight, I simply looked for the cheapest domain hosting service possible and came across 1and1. Their service was exactly what they promised, it was cheap. In this case, it was definitely true that you get what you pay for. However, this wasn't really a big deal since the domains were cheap and I could still host them how I wanted. The biggest problem with this service was with their billing department. At some point, they stopped billing my credit card and I received no communication, email or snail mail, from them. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until they put a lock on my domain and all my visitors only saw the default hosting page instead of my blog. When I called their billing department to resolve, they said I had an outstanding charge (of less than $10 I believe) and I would need to talk to their collections department to reactivate the domain. When I called their collections department, I was told there was no lock on my domain and that they couldn't accept payment. On two separate occasions over the course of a week, I asked to speak to a manager and was hung up on. Since my blog was dead in the water, I decided to do a domain transfer to GoDaddy because of their reputation for being a domain leader online. It was during the process of trying to transfer this locked domain that I discovered all domains are intellectual property and no hosting services have no legal right to hold them from being transferred.

GoDaddy Review

Once I had transferred my blog's domain to GoDaddy, I found it fairly simple to add additional blogs and niche web sites to their service. Also, their hosting interface was extremely easy to use for the cost. It was $7.99 per month for their economy hosting service to have 150GB of storage for an unlimited amount of domains and 25 MySql databases, which I figured was a great deal considering the cost of hosting a site on my own servers, as I had done previously. Over time, I had over 10 domains and blogs hosted on GoDaddy and started to notice that more frequently my visitors were coming across a "Service Unavailable" error message. After Googling the problem, this is apparently a common issue with GoDaddy because unless you buy their more expensive Server Hosting package, that you are actually sharing capacity with other people who also pay for the service and sometimes it cannot handle the bandwidth. Lets be clear though, I only had a limited number of simple Wordpress blogs online, nothing that was too bandwidth or cpu intensive. This problem started costing my money when Google started penalizing my search ranking due to the service unavailable message. Although they are great and inexpensive at hosting domains, I didn't have the best experience with their web hosting. So, once again I needed to look for another web hosting service for my sites.

HostGator Review

Finally, I turned to HostGator at the recommendation of a friend. They provide unlimited storage and unlimited bandwidth in addition to a static ip to host your sites that makes administration 100% easier. Since I had been burnt before, I was very cautious to simply move all my blogs to another service, so I just moved one at a time. Fortunately, since they offer the first month of their service for only a penny with a promo code, I figured that there couldn't be any harm in giving the service a try. Wow was I surprised when I logged in the first time. The control panel was laid out in a very organized fashion and it was easy to find all the features I used most often. At first it was almost overwhelming with all the features that they offered in the control panel… some of the features I had wished the other service providers offered. In the CPanel, there were even indicators that showed process usage of my sites in addition to real time visitor stats. When I had the first blog up and running, I was impressed that the speed was at least 2x that of GoDaddy with every single test. This service was a little bit more than GoDaddy after the first month at $9.99, but the extra 2 bucks are well worth the reliability and additional traffic that has resulted.

In Conclusion

I am now a loyal HostGator user and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to host their site on a reliable service that is easy to use and also has all the bells and whistles.

Three Ways Of Thinking Outside The Box

Are Colour Printers Cost Effective?

And with this demand, there are now many more options for colour printing in the office or in the home. Traditional offset printing for color still has its place, and a full service printer can offer services that you can't get any other way, such as bulk bindery work.

However, the threshold for where owning a color laser printer and doing the work in house has become consistently lower. There are more labour costs, and your cost per copy is going to go up compared to most traditional offset printers. On the other hand, you can print items on demand, and more than make up the difference on inventory taxes and stocking levels.

The usual point where break even happens is around 4,000 copies. If you're printing 4,000 copies of a given item, it's almost always better to go to an offset press for the job, though this will vary considerably by region and services offered.

When looking at the cost effectiveness of colour laser printing, you need to do a realistic assessment of how often it will be used by your organisation. In many cases, colour laser printers can be had for less than the cost of a single offset print job, but the question comes down to what will it be used for.

If you're a small publishing company, a colour laser printer makes perfect sense, because it allows you to release products with interior colour without having to buy 5,000 copies of it and store it in the warehouse, hoping it will sell. Higher end colour laser printers can handle interior color and even handle printing colour jackets for perfect bound books, and a glue binder is a relatively inexpensive piece of equipment.

If you're a smaller business that isn't doing publishing, the question comes down to whether or not the cost of the color printing can be rolled into the costs of the services or goods you're providing to your customers. In most cases, it can. Doing, for example, marketing brochures or website sales to clients are greatly enhances by handing colour printouts to them.

For larger businesses, the real question comes down to costs per page; these have dropped considerably in the last few years; they used to be about seven to ten times as expensive as a black and white laser printed page; they're now down to three to four times as expensive, which opens up a great deal of options for internal reports and external sales items.

In the end, the cost effectiveness of colour laser printers stems on what you'd use them for. They can be a useful adjunct for most any business if priced accordingly, however the real question comes down to "Will they generate more business?" either by enhancing services provided to clients, enabling products or services that would otherwise be unfeasible, or reducing your inventory costs and improving overhead.

How to Eat Healthy in a Busy Lifestyle

The last thing you want to do is try to find some time to go shopping and make a healthy dinner! It is ever so tempting to skip your workout and run through a fast food joint just to make your day just a little be faster and easier. After all you have had a hard day and deserve a break, right? However, you know that you'd feel better sticking to your promise to yourself and your family to eat healthier.

Instead of skipping your training session and running to the nearest fast food joint for yourself and the kids; try these quick and easy tips to developing a lifestyle change when it comes to eating healthy in a busy life.

Healthy eating is essential in the big picture of fat loss and healthy living. Many people exercise and train hard but they do not stick to a balanced nutrition plan. There are so many fads out there, how is it possible to figure out the best way to eat?

The key is to keep your plan simple. Eating a balanced plan of fruits, vegetables, lean meats and dairy for protein, nuts, whole grain rice and breads, and drinking at least a gallon of water per day should be your goals. Avoid starches such as pasta, potatoes and cereals. Carbohydrates are not the enemy, but you should be getting them from the right sources.

Here are some quick tips to help you manage your busy lifestyle and still eat healthy in order to meet your fat loss and training goals.

1. Find healthy recipes online that you can make in 30 minutes or less
2. Prepare as much as possible on Sunday nights- prep the food, prepare larger dishes that you can just heat up and use for leftovers
3. Shop once per week with a detailed list to avoid multiple time-wasting trips
4. Keep basic ingredients stocked in your kitchen
5. Prep salads and cut veggies for easy snacking or pairing with meals
6. Buy meats and freeze them until you need them to avoid spoiling
7. Stock up on healthy and quick snack items such as fruits, veggie sticks, nuts, cheese sticks, protein bars, and greek yogurt
8. Eat every 3-4 hours
9. Drink a gallon of water per day to fend off hunger
10. Keep the big picture in mind

Try these tips to develop a healthy lifestyle even when life is hectic and crazy. Think of how much better you feel when you put exercise and training, nutrition, and your entire healthy lifestyle in the forefront. Keep yourself focused on the big picture and do not get stressed out by quick fixes. You want a steady metabolism that burns calories at rest, not just when you are training. The only way to do that is to maintain a balanced plan with enough food throughout the day to fuel you properly.
